The Decca

Welcome to The Decca, a former radio navigation station turned into a cozy and welcoming retreat on the picturesque Isle of Lewis.

The two cottages offer a home away from home in one of the most breathtaking locations in the world; one can accommodate up to 8 people, and the other can sleep up to 7. Both cottages come with fully equipped kitchens and cozy living rooms for you to relax and unwind.

Situated near the stunning Eoropie beach, you’ll have easy access to the pristine sands and the soothing sounds of the nearby ocean. If you’re a nature enthusiast, you’ll love the Loch Stiapabhat nature reserve, just a short 5-minute walk away. Don’t forget to visit the wildlife observatory to catch a glimpse of the diverse local fauna.

For families, the Eoropie Dunes award-winning children’s play-park is close by, offering endless fun for the little ones. If you’re looking for more activities, a short walk will take you to a swimming pool and sports centre, where you can enjoy a gym, sauna, sports hall, and even a 10-pin bowling alley located at Spornis.

And of course, no trip to The Decca would be complete without a visit to the famous Butt of Lewis lighthouse, a quick 5-minute drive away. From there, you can admire the stunning coastline and the power of the North Atlantic.
